This blog explores my interest in photography, both digital and film. Many of the photographs are from Denver's streets, cemeteries, parks, zoo, hidden places, and surrounding areas.

Kinda Cool Accidental Blurry Mess
Here's a picture I took at the Denver zoo for a friend who likes tigers. It looks like he's bounding off into the forest, but he's really just pacing around in his cage. This blurry picture came out accidentally kinda cool...

Wow, that does look really cool. Great job on controlling the shutter speed to keep the image sharp enough too!
Hi Joe, cool image. Thanks. It's kind of sad seeing tigers pacing even if they are in a decent zoo. I visited Twycross Zoo (UK) this week and there were lions and leopards pacing.
Thanks for the comment, Nick. At the Denver zoo they have a large outdoor area for the tigers, but since tigers are solitary creatures generally only one can be outside at a time. They also have 2 indoor viewing cages where I took this picture.

Thanks, Ariel. Here are the camera settings for this shot: flash off; ISO 200; F4.8; shutter speed 1/4 of a second.
