On the trip back home I decided to take Highway 84 north and a little west to Abiquiu and Ghost Ranch. You can see why Georgia O'Keeffe loved the place so much - it's isolated and filled with all sorts of unusual colors.
This blog explores my interest in photography, both digital and film. Many of the photographs are from Denver's streets, cemeteries, parks, zoo, hidden places, and surrounding areas.

San Francisco de Asis Church near Taos, New Mexico
I drove down to New Mexico yesterday and took these pictures outside the San Francisco de Asis Church in Ranchos de Taos. The first four were taken last night and the fifth one was taken this morning on my way out of town.

Lions at the Denver Zoo
Today I visited Denver's zoo and took a few pictures of the Lions. The first two were taken inside the lion house looking out through the window. If you look close you can see a bit of glare from the window, which is why the photographs have a slightly soft look.
Having a drink.
Outside the window.

Here are three more pictures from the May 1st Immigration Rally in Denver. The first and third ones were actually cropped from the same larger photograph.
